What it is good for
- Motivation. See yourself in the choreo you are about to learn. Some dancers find it easier to commit once they have seen it.
- Class and crew promos. Recast a routine with up to 4 crew members who agreed to it, and post it as a teaser.
- The bit. Your crew's least coordinated member, flawless for 10 seconds.
What it is not
- Not a tutorial: it does not break moves down or slow them for you.
- Not feedback: it does not look at how you dance.
- Not your performance: the moves are the original dancer's. Credit the choreographer when you post, and say the video is AI-generated.
Tips for dance clips
Front-facing footage from a studio mirror or a stage works best. Keep the clip to the section you care about: 8 to 15 seconds is usually enough, and Stars are per second.
Price, plainly
A subscription is needed to start: Weekly is $4.99 with 5 Stars each week, Yearly is $89.99 with 8 Stars each month. 1 Star is 1 second of video, and Star packs of 5, 12 or 25 Stars top you up. Prices vary by country. If a video fails, your Stars come back.
Questions
Can it help me learn a dance?
Not directly. It shows you in the routine, it does not teach or correct moves.
Does the music stay in sync?
Yes. The video keeps the clip's original audio, so moves and music stay together.
Can I recast my whole crew?
Up to 4 dancers per video, each with their permission.
