Why most face swap videos stop at one person
In 778 one and two star App Store reviews of 11 AI video and face swap apps that we read in October 2026, "more than one face" came up again and again. People wrote that they could not get two people dancing like in the ad, that an app "can't do multiple people anymore", or asked why two people cost extra. BeMainStar was built around groups from the start.
How the counting works
- Set the number. On "People to swap", choose 1 to 4.
- Count from the left. Person 1 is whoever stands furthest left in the clip, person 2 is next, and so on.
- Assign the cast. Drop You, Sam, Friend 2 into the spots you want. You do not have to take the middle.
- Confirm consent. For each friend's photo the app asks you to confirm they said yes.
Picking a good group clip
- People who stay roughly in their positions are easiest to follow. A line dance beats a mosh pit.
- Faces should be visible at least some of the time. Backs to the camera give the AI nothing to match.
- If the clip has five dancers, swap the four you care about. The rest stay as they are.

Questions
How many people can I swap in one video?
Up to 4: you plus 3 friends.
Does a group video cost more?

Do my friends need the app?
No. You add a photo of each friend, with their permission. They can get their own copy when you share the video.
Can I swap only some of the people?
Yes. You set how many people to swap and choose which spots they take. Everyone else stays as in the original.
Whose face can I use?
Your own, and friends who said yes. BeMainStar is for people aged 13 and over, content filters apply to every photo, and any video can be reported from the app.
